As we usually stay in resorts with concrete pads, full hookups, pools/spas and all the extras, Horseshoe Ridge ranks near the top! We just spent a week here and absolutely loved it. Great location, under 10 minute drive to the charming downtown square in Wimberley. The amenities here are gorgeous and the sunset from the pool/community firepit area were breathtaking. Concrete sites with full hookups, pretty spacious. Our only complaint would be stickers/burs in the grass on the sites but management told us they are working to get rid of those asap. Overall highly recommend this resort!
Booking here for our 10 year wedding anniversary was the best decision we have made since we got married. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. Staff is kind, caring, knowledgeable, super friendly and fun!! The grounds are gorgeous and very well maintained. The store has everything you need, the pool is the perfect temperature day and night, and every bathroom/bath house was clean and well stocked. Between the pickleball courts, corn hole boards, pool table, outdoor kitchen and swimming pool, we were never bored. The only problem we had was leaving to return to west Texas. We will return every chance we get.
The management was excellent and provided an exciting schedule of cookouts and fun games for our participation. Lisa and Christina were so active and jubilant in their sponsoring of these events. The owners should feel very fortunate to have these employees supporting his wonderful RV resort. Billy and his family as the owners were actively involved in the events. I was really impressed with the amenities especially the pool and pickleball courts. The showers and bathrooms were very private and the best I have seen thus far in my RV travels. They are working on getting picnic tables located at sites. The location provides easy access to Wimberly and the many five star restaurants in the surrounding towns of Dripping Springs and Driftwood. We are planning on a return trip over Thanksgiving holidays.
We loved our long weekend at Horseshoe Ridge! The grounds were beautiful, the pool was amazing, and the team was friendly and helpful. This is one of our favorite RV resorts to date! The amenities were perfect and the resort is located near tons of local spots to check out around Dripping Springs and Driftwood. Check this place out, you won't regret it.
