Getting here with a big rig
- From Austin and the north
- Take US 290 west to Dripping Springs, then RR 12 south about 10 miles. Horseshoe Ridge is on the right.
- From San Antonio and the south
- Take I-35 to San Marcos and RR 12 toward Wimberley. Use the truck route around downtown Wimberley: RM 2325, then Winters Mill Parkway back to RR 12. Turn right, and Horseshoe Ridge is a few miles ahead on the left.
- Skip the shortcuts
- Don’t cut across from Kyle or Buda. Those back roads are narrow and winding.

Good to Know Before You Book
- Check-in and check-out
- Check in after 1 PM; check out by 11 AM. Approved early check-in or late check-out is $25.
- Quiet hours
- 10 PM to 8 AM.
- Office hours
- Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM; Sunday, 9 AM to 3 PM.
- Arriving after hours
- Your envelope waits in the black mailbox at the Welcome Center breezeway, with your site number, a resort map, Wi-Fi details and access codes.
- Driving and generators
- Keep to 5 MPH inside the resort. Generators need our written permission.
- Fees
- There is no resort fee, and RV site stays aren’t taxed.

Often, yes. For same-day or next-day arrivals, call 737-307-2288 and we’ll check every open site for you.
Yes. Stay 7 nights and your 7th night is free; stay 14 nights and your 7th and 14th nights are free. Military members and veterans, first responders and teachers get 10% off, and it stacks with the weekly deal. The 10% is booked by phone at 737-307-2288; there’s no online code. We don’t offer Good Sam, AARP or other club discounts.
Yes. Tell us what you’d like, such as a site near the pool or pickleball courts. A one-time $30 site lock guarantees the exact site; without it, you’re guaranteed your site type but not the site number. Add the lock when you book online, or ask when you call.
When you book, you prepay up to your first 7 nights: a 4-night stay is paid in full, and on a 10-night stay you prepay the first 7 nights. Changing your dates is free more than 30 days out and $35 inside 30 days. Cancelling more than 30 days out costs a $35 processing fee; 3 to 30 days out, one night’s charge; inside 3 days, your prepayment isn’t refunded.
Holiday weekends usually sell out in the final week before, so reserve as soon as your dates are set. March through July and October through December are our busiest months.

Up to six people and three pets per RV site, with no pet fee on RV sites.
If your RV is more than 10 years old, we may ask for a recent photo before you arrive.
Fire pits at the RV sites are propane only. Wood fires are welcome at the community fire pits, and firewood is sold at the Trading Post.
