Thirty-one acres is a lovely amount of space — and a golf cart rental makes exploring every corner of it a whole lot more fun. Great for getting to the pool without breaking a sweat, ferrying supplies across the property, or just cruising around at sunset.

We stayed at one of the RV Sites. The site was fantastic and close to the bath house and activities. This is one of the best RV resorts we've visited. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Grounds and facilities are top notch. Location is very close to everything you want to do in Hill Country from San Marcos to Dripping Springs, less than 30 minutes away. One nice feature — if you empty a propane bottle, just put it out at your curb and they will come by and replace it with a full one. Club house and honor system Dry Good store were great, not to mention the enormous beautiful swimming pool. This a must for every camper to visit. You won't be disappointed. Big shout out to George and Lisa.

What amenities does Horseshoe Ridge RV Resort have?
All 124 RV sites are full hookup, in Premium, Executive and Deluxe tiers, each available pull-through or back-in. On the property there is a swimming pool and pool deck, pickleball courts, an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit area, nature trails, laundry, and the resort store. Fiber Wi-Fi and hardwired pedestals support remote work. On-site services include valet propane and golf cart rentals. There are also three luxury cabin rentals: Sea Biscuit, Secretariat and The Mingo.
Is there Wi-Fi at Horseshoe Ridge RV Resort?
Yes. We run fiber Wi-Fi across the property and hardwired pedestal connections for guests who need a steadier connection, which is the setup most remote workers prefer for a long stay. Speeds vary by site.
Does the resort have a pool?
Yes. The swimming pool and surrounding pool deck are among the most-used spaces on the property, and the pool deck is one of the outdoor areas groups gather in. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult anywhere on the property, including the pool, and pets are not permitted inside the pool fence.
Can you rent a golf cart at the resort?
Yes, golf cart rentals are available on site. A valid driver's licence is required to operate any motorised vehicle on the property, and the resort speed limit is 5 mph, strictly enforced.
How does the valet propane service work?
The filling station is fixed, not mobile. Motorhomes and Class C's, where the tank is affixed to the RV, drive to the on-site station. Removable 30 lb cylinders from travel trailers and 5th wheels are picked up at your site, filled, and returned. We also fill portable camping cylinders and forklift cylinders. Refills only, no exchanges. Hours are Monday to Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 2 PM, billed per gallon at the current market rate with a $10 minimum charge.
Are the amenities open to cabin guests as well as RV guests?
Yes. Cabin guests and RV guests use the same resort amenities. All three cabins are pet-friendly, and cabins carry a two-night minimum with check-in after 3:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM.
Is there an indoor event space for groups?
Not currently. Group gathering space at Horseshoe Ridge is outdoor only — the pool deck, the outdoor kitchen and the fire pit area — arranged in advance and shared rather than private. A dedicated event center is a planned Phase 2 expansion. For rally groups of 10 or more sites travelling together, request a quote or call 737-307-2288.
What are the quiet hours and site rules?
Quiet hours run 10 PM to 8 AM. Fire pits are propane only, with no open flames or charcoal grills. Generators are prohibited except by written management permission. The speed limit is 5 mph, and no ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes or drones are permitted. Maximum occupancy is six people per site, with a day pass fee for additional guests.
